Charlotte Osborne
Welcome to the official website of Charlotte Osborne, an internationally acclaimed dressage rider with a passion for the artistry and athleticism of horse riding.
About us
Charlotte's journey began in the verdant landscapes of the UK, fox hunting and show jumping with her mother. After completing her University degree in Equitation Science, Charlotte emigrated to the Netherlands in pursuit of further training. This sparked a passion for dressage, and she spent several years honing her skills with Grand Prix trainers before following her dream to Georgia, where she is now based.
Charlotte has made her name as not only a deeply respected teacher, but a well-loved advocate for her horses and clients. Her experience runs deep, from starting the dressage stars of the future to training the Grand Prix. She is a seasoned competitor on the CDI circuit, demonstrating her remarkable skills and dedication in international arenas. Her ability to simplify the highest levels of training down to the basics is what allows her to speak the horse's language, and is an integral part of her training philosophy.
Our mission
Our mission at Osborne International Dressage is to train horses to their full Grand Prix potential, focusing on solid foundational work without resorting to shortcuts. We believe in harmonic movement with our horses, building a relationship based on trust and mutual respect. These principles, as well as the belief that we are one with our horse, are the pillars of our philosophy and guide our approach to training.
Our extensive experience and prioritizing of the horses' best interests has equipped us with a vast toolkit of techniques. This enables us to tailor our methods to suit each horse's unique needs and personality, ensuring we find the perfect training method and timeline for every horse under our care.
Beyond training, we pride ourselves on being able to match riders with their ideal equine partners. We understand that finding the perfect horse can transform a rider's journey, and we are dedicated to making that match. Our expertise extends to importing high-quality dressage horses from Europe, where Charlotte maintains connections with top trainers, carefully handpicking for potential and suitability.
